Velma

To Velma and Family

So sorry to hear of Rev. John's passing. He will be in a new body and a new place. Growing up, the Smith's were our neighbours in Haliburton, and I often babysat for the family.

As well Rev. John was the pastor of Lakeside Baptist were I grew up.He was a wondeful and kind leader  to our youth group. He often took the group to various Trent Valley Association meetings.

John was one of the two ministers that preformed our wedding in October 1975.

You and John have visited my parents on several occasions. The tell us of your visits every time.

John and you and the family will always be remember by us.
