Obituary for Dr. James Mason
Dr. James Mason ~ At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Saturday, July 30, 2016, Dr. James Francis Mason of Blenheim, formerly of Listowel, in his 62nd year.
Beloved husband of Susan (Holdsworth) Mason. Father of Andrew Mason and his wife Jessica of Fairfax, Virginia, Alex Mason and Jessi Pigeon of Toronto, and David Mason and Cory Young of Waterloo.
Loving brother of Marilyn Crabe and her husband Bruce of Richmond Hill, and brother-in-law of Bill, Judy, John and Jim (deceased) Holdsworth. Remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Joyce and Don Mason.
Dr. James Mason was a successful chiropractor for over 30 years in the Listowel area, as well as serving as an examiner on the Canadian Chiropractic Association Board. A member of the Listowel BIA, he was deeply beloved by his community and patients. In addition to his practice, James was an avid fisherman, talented woodworker, loyal friend, caring brother, and devoted husband and father. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and family, and forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday August 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 1:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Listowel, on Thursday August 4th at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations to The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
