Grew up in my Southampton family home across the street from Doug and Lily. Thoughts and prayers with Lily and other family and friends during this time. Doug was always such a kind soul and always was friendly and nice to talk to over the past 31 years of my life. Growing up in small town Southampton on little Bay Street had me going to trick or treat, selling my girl guide cookies and other school fundraisers and as I got older driving the Taylor's to Owen sound to a few specialist appointments as I did one of my nursing placement at the Owen sound hospital. Thinking of Doug and his family.

What a blessing this wonderful couple have been in our lives. We met through attendance at Community Baptist church in Port Elgin where Lily was the Sunday School teacher and Doug was a Deacon. The children just loved these two members of the church and have warm and caring memories of them both. Doug and Lily helped a tremendous amount by discreetly assisting families from the church to send their children to Hermosa Christian summer camp. Many fine childhood memories have been forged because of their generosity. Doug will be sadly missed. Heartfelt condolences to Lily plus the many family and friends he leaves behind.
