Wife of the late Morris Purcell. Mother of Jean & Bill Cook of Newton, Barbara & Brad Erb of Millbank, Karen Laidlaw & Jay Schultz of Milverton, Doug Purcell of Newton, and Rob Purcell of Harriston.
Grandmother of Matthew Cook and Daelyn, Michael Cook, T.J. & Samantha Poole, Kyra & Kevin Wood, Amber & Jason VanMoorsel, Mitchell Laidlaw, Lucas Laidlaw and Hailey, Cory & Melissa Purcell, Natasha & Mike Cassel, and Devin & Tessa Purcell.
Great-grandmother of Clayton, Destiny, Henry, Betty, Quentin, Mavis, Trevor, Cheyenne, Caroline, Caitlyn, Jack, Ruby, Grace, Ella, Makayla, Dakota, and Briella.
Sister of Helen Cullen of Listowel, and sister-in-law of Pat Elliott of Hanover, and Harry Purcell, and Paul Bristowe, both of Listowel, and remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son-in-law Robert Laidlaw, daughter-in-law Debbie Purcell, sisters Blanche McNichol and Joyce Turcotte, and brothers Burt Elliott, Jim Elliott, and Don Elliott.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Listowel on Sunday, February 17th at 2:00 p.m.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
