George McBride ~ Peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Mr. Clarence George McBride of Listowel, formerly of Lucknow, in his 82nd year.

He leaves behind devoted wife, Donna Lee (Shisler) McBride.

Father of George & Anne McBride of Kincardine, Dianne & Robert Godglick of Cambridge, Molly & Dennis Hodgins of Chilliwack, BC, Kelly & Daniel Kennedy of Jerusalem, Israel, Richard McBride of Mission, BC, and Connie Smith of Lucknow.

Grandfather of Tyler Phillips, Jaclyn, Danielle and Luke McBride, Josh (Ella), Kiera, Lucas and Meagan Smith, and Govan Kennedy, and great-grandfather of Jocelyn Smith.

Brother of Ray & Sharon McBride, Marie & Sam Templeton, Jack & Mary McBride, Donald & Stephanie McBride, and the late Jean McBride.

Remembered by Donna’s family, David & Marie Claude Clark (James and Emma) of Tottenham, Christopher Clark of Mount Forest, and Jay & Vicki Clark of Alliston.

George was born in Toronto on December 8, 1937 to Clarence & Ruby (Evans) McBride. Proud farmer on the Lucknow farm for over 44 years.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, December 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mike Hutchinson officiating. Spring interment in South Kinloss Cemetery, Lucknow.
