Louise Strong - At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, Mrs. Grace Louise (Browne) Strong of Listowel, in her 79th year.
Wife of the late J. Perry Strong. Mother of Jeannette Strong of Calgary, Carolyn and Scott Cornwall of Heidelberg, Peggy Strong of New Hamburg, and Greg Strong and Christina Durance of Port Elgin. Grandmother of Becky and Devin Church of Ottawa, Jacob Cornwall of Timmins, Colin Gibson of Ottawa, Drew Gibson and Sarah Rankin of Wiarton, Jonathan Hatherley of Kitchener, and Matthew Hatherley of New Hamburg.
Louise was born in North York Township, Ontario, on February 23, 1940 to late Peter and Grace (Cochrane) Browne. Sister of Doug and Brenda Browne of Fordwich, Marie and Wayne White, and Jean and John Martin all of Welland, Lorna Knoblauch of Listowel, Ted and Loretta Browne of Atwood, and Peter and Kim Browne of Tottenham, and remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her infant brother Bruce, granddaughter Jocelyn Cornwall, brother-in-law Daryl Knoblauch.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, December 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Gorrie Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
