Harvey Gilbert Ziegler passed into the arms of his heavenly father surrounded by family on August 14, 2018 in his 76th year. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Valerie of Listowel, daughter Sherri Brown (Tim) of Thunder Bay, two brothers, Duncan (Joan) of Waterloo and George (Rose) of Kitchener. Pappa to Cody, Abel, Paul, Hope, Leah, Owen, Alexandra, Autumn and Nathan. Uncle to Mike (Roxanne), Carole Joanne (Ron), Dave (Sandra), Cathy (George). Also survived by stepsons Ted and Nick Warner and Ron Dwyer. Predeceased by his son Christopher, parents Harvey and Katie Ziegler and sister in law Shirley. Harvey was actively involved with the Masonic Lodge and The Order of the Eastern Star until his illness. Harvey always was involved with singing, including the Lakehead Choral group, Thunder Bay symphony Choir, and various church choirs and community choirs.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. where a Masonic Memorial Service and an Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service.
