In Memory of

Betty

Fretz

Condolences

Condolence From: Allan Robillard
Condolence: Dr. Betty Fretz was the most caring person to bless us with good vision and do everything in her power to make sure everyone's eye health was beyond words what she did for me to free me from glasses and get me into Contact Lenses. I had a pleasure to meet Marv and Betty while doing work for a wireless company and thank Betty and her Husband for all their support. Miss you Betty you will forever be in my heart as someone who did more than care about eye health but provided exceptional care beyond words of gratitude. "She Lives in Us" Bless you and your family.

Condolence: Dr Betty Fretz was such a vital, kind and valuable person. As retirees in her area from Toronto, it is from Dr Betty that we have received the best preventive care ever for our eyes. We were privileged to meet her several times and let her know of our opinion of her care. She is a great loss and our condolences go out to her family and others she helped.

Condolence: I first met Dr. Betty when I was 10 yrs. old and she fit me for my Ortho-K Lenses. I felt like she treated me like a person and not "just a kid" and that she really cared. In the years following I looked forward to my appointments with her. She was a first class lady and a genuine person all around. I will really miss her. Rest in Peace, Dr. Betty.

Condolence: So deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your dear wife Betty. She was an incredible lady and she will be missed greatly. I’m very grateful for the time I got to know her and spend gardening with her. I will think fondly of her every year when all my gorgeous daylilies bloom. My heart goes out to you and all her family and friends. The world feels just a little less brighter without her energy and smiling face.

Condolence: Dear Marvin and family, I heard of Betty's fight with cancer and recently that her fight had ended. God must have needed her in Heaven to take her so early. We,the volunteers of the Beausejour Daylily Gardens in Beausejour, Manitoba will always have her lovely daylilies to remind us of her strength, her wisdom, and talent as a hybridizer. We recently had the privilege to name and register one of her hybrids. It's called the Beausejour Angel reward. It truly is a magnificent daylily. We will admire it always, and her legacy will always live on here. Our deepest condolences.

Condolence From: David Shantz
Condolence: Greetings Marv. With this message I share my condolences with you. I realize that it has been many years since we last met but when I saw the announcement of your wife's obituary I e-mailed my brother Bob to verify if I knew you. We knew each other from Vineland and Dunnville and later we lived in the Kitchener area. I do not know the details of your wife's death but I pray that you will experience God's comfort and grace as you morn the loss that her death leaves you. My wife Susie and I pray that your good memories will give you purpose and courage. In this Easter Season we are reminded so much of death and suffering. We rejoice that in Christ there is hope and that the power of the resurrection, the triumphant of life over death is a victory that is ours each day. Each day may you walk with God in the power of His resurrection. Peace, Marv...... May God's peace comfort your aching soul, David Shantz
