Ernest Blatchford ~ At his home, after a short battle with cancer, on Sunday, March 25, 2018, Mr. William Ernest Blatchford of Listowel and formerly of Atwood, in his 68th year.

Husband of Janette (Johnson) Blatchford.

Son of Anna (Townshend) Blatchford of Listowel and the late Bill Blatchford.

Father of Steve and Joy Blatchford of Guelph, and Shane Blatchford and Lori Van Loo of Wroxeter, and grandfather of Aden and Harper.

Brother-in-law of Edie and Carl Cardwell of Kitchener, Kathy Johnson, and Lorne Cousland, both of Listowel, and remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers Joe and Peter, and by his sister-in-law Anna Cousland.

Ernie’s passions were hunting, riding his motorbike, and his friends and family.

A Celebration of Ernest’s life will be held at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, Atwood, on Thursday, March 29th. We invite you to drop by from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. and hope you dress casually.

Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery.
