Condolences

Condolence From: Amanda Ameis
Condolence: Tante Valy was an incredibly kind, supportive, intelligent, and generous woman. She was always up for a witty and funny conversation, even into her later years. While I did not have the opportunity to spend much time together given how far apart we lived, she somehow always knew what the grand-nieces and nephews were up to and cared greatly for us. She will be sorely missed. Much love from Winnipeg, Amanda Ameis.

Condolence: Tante Valy was a special lady who left an impression on everyone who knew her. She was Tante to Walter and Tim from birth...tante by heart for Cathy. She will not be forgotten. Thankful for the memories we all cherish. Hugs to all who knew her, and loved her.

Condolence: It is with great sadness to hear about Valentine's passing. My mom Pearl Bromley and Valentine became good friends at Maitland Terrace when my mom moved in. Valentine right away took her under her wing and became her friend. They would visit with each other, go down for lunch and go to movie night together. We were blessed to have Val in mom's life. They were great friends for less then 2 years when my mom was moved to a nursing home. My mom missed her dearly. Our condolences to Valentine's family.

Condolence: Warmest wishes and condolences to the whole family at this time but especially to Walter, Cathy and Timothy Kunz who were such an integral part of Val's life. We have been privileged to know Val through our friendship with you and she loved you dearly. We know you will miss Val; she was a part of your daily life, there is not a memory Val won't be part of. But keep strength knowing your loss and sadness comes from a place of love and genuine caring. Rest in peace, Valentine Guentzel.

Condolence: Val's family

I had the privilege of getting to know Val at Maitland Terrace. It doesn't take long to get attached to these special ladies and I considered her one of my special "Grandmas". She will always hold a very special place in my ♥️. Thinking of her family today as you remember the good times you also shared with her. So very sorry for your loss

Condolence: To the Guentzel family....there are a few people who come into our world that make a definite impact on our life's and Val is one of those special souls. Her independence was quite remarkable and she was such a wonderful historian. We so enjoyed her for the short time we got to know her here at Knollcrest. She had wonderful support from her family and you will miss her companionship.
