Obituary for Charlie Cartile
Charlie Cartile ~ At the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, Ottawa, on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Mr. Charles Edward Cartile of Ottawa, in his 83rd year.
Husband of the late Glenda (Judge) Cartile, and the late Lee (Donaldson) Eaton.
Father of Terry Cartile of Ottawa, Sheila and Glenn Wagner of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Tammy and Dan Gervais of Ottawa, and Sean and Wendy Eaton of Listowel.
Papa of Bobby, Amie, and Steven Corrigan, Lauren and Nicholas Gervais, and Quinton and Suzanne, Nicole, and Alyssa Eaton, and great-papa of Luke, Jayden, Tommy, and Jessie.
Loved also by his sister Patsy Illsley of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his son Steven Cartile and sister Anne Cartile.
A Celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #593, Bells Corners, (4026 Old Richmond Road, Ottawa), on Sunday, March 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.
Interment in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa.
Memorial donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel (519-291-4840).
