Obituary for Bill Cherrey

Bill  Cherrey
Bill Cherrey ~ of Listowel and formerly of Palmerston, passed away at home on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family.

Husband of Wilma (Donohue) Cherrey for 55 years.

Father of Debora and Bill Forsythe of Fergus, John and Cheryl Cherrey of Listowel, Roseann and Jake Wiebe of Grimshaw, Alberta, and Shane Cherrey of Listowel.

Grandfather of Katie, Max, Shelby, Amber, Kayla, Alicia, Chris, Nicole, Scott, and Josie, and great-grandfather of Ellie and Marcus.

Brother of Paul and Arloa Cherrey of Wallaceburg, and brother-in-law of Diane, Pat, Tex and Rosemary.

Remembered by his Aunt Audrey Alexander of Palmerston, Wanda Cherrey, Greg Brown, and by his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4th at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. George Russell and Major Wendy Johnstone officiating.

Spring interment in Palmerston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Listowel Salvation Army would be appreciated.
