Thomas Mayne ~ After a short battle with cancer, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, Mr. Thomas Michael Mayne of Listowel, in his 64th year.

Husband of the late Jackie (Hicks) Mayne in 2014.

Father of Melanie and Roger Thackeray of Goderich, Jeff and Rebecka Mayne of Tottenham, and Justin Mayne of Listowel.

Grandfather of Abigale and Avery Thackeray, and Byron Mayne.

Son of Joe Mayne of Arthur, and the late Elaine (deceased 2009)

Brother of Eleanor and John Morris of Elora, Vince Mayne of Elora, Joan and Pete Keeling of Markdale, Marilyn and Wayne Bridge of Fergus, Maureen and Scott Campbell of Ottawa, and Chris and Rose Mayne of Hamilton, and remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Brother-in-law of Pat Hicks of Stratford, Julie and Steve Coulter of Brussels, Ken Hicks of St. Mary's, Rick and Kathy Hicks of Acton, and Sherri Hicks and Tom Wilson of Listowel, and Dale Newman of R.R.3, Brussels.

Predeceased by his mother, brother Paul Mayne, sister Phyllis Mayne, and sisters-in-law Karen Mayne and Carmie Newman, and parents-in-law Wilma and Earle Hicks.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 2:30 p.m.

The family funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 16th with Rev. Fr. Keith Morrison officiating.

Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Listowel, or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
