Lloyd Johnston ~ On Sunday, November 19, 2017 Mr. David Lloyd George Johnston of Listowel, in his 92nd year.

Husband of Frances (Turney) Johnston. Father of Sue and Paul Carson of Listowel, Barb and Daryl Smith of Kurtzville, Betty Johnston and Fred Fountain of Stratford, Ev and Mike Grosz of Listowel, Linda and Steve Grosz of Waterloo, and Connie Johnston and Brad Johns of R.R.1, Listowel.

Grandfather of Jonathan Carson and Robin, Rebecca Carson and Murray, Sean Carson and Jessica, Sheena Carpenter and Scott, Cody Smith, Robin Johnston and Jenny, Jordan Grosz and Sam, Patrick Grosz and Abbie, Devin Grosz and Alana, Mitchell Grosz and Sam, Joshua Morrison and Tessa, Lucas Morrison and Shannon, step-grandfather of Jamie Johns, and Dylan Johns, and great-grandfather of Andrew Johnston, Cadha Carpenter, Katie Morrison, and Maddison Morrison.

Lloyd was predeceased by his infant daughter Patricia, and by his parents David and Gladys (Ash) Johnston, sister Helen Bartman and brother-in-law Murray, brother Bob Johnston and sister-in-law Marlene Johnston, brothers Harold and Gordon, sisters Mildred and Beatrice.


Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday. November 28 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Wednesday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Don McCallum officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to Caressant Care Residents' Fund, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
