Beloved wife of the late Robert Brisbin (2000).

Mother of Perry Brisbin, and Doug and Brenda Brisbin, all of Gowanstown, Judy and Reg Thompson of Ilderton, and Joyce and Paul Johnston of Bluevale.

Grandmother of Jordan and Laura Thompson, Reid and Melissa Thompson, Becky and Colin Noble, Alyssa and Tim Bridge, Sarah and Brett Nichol, Kailey Brisbin, Jill Johnston, and Thomas Johnston and Kate Pinder.

Great-grandmother of Addison and Lauren Bridge, Wren Nichol, James and Madelyn Thompson, and Blake Thompson.

Sister of Muriel Gottfried of Listowel, and Ruby and Bill Naylor of Monkton.

Gertrude was predeceased by her parents Alex and Hilda (Krotz) Wolfe, brother Harold Wolfe, brother-in-law Andrew Gottfried, granddaughter Katelyn Brisbin, and great-granddaughter Emma Thompson.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Family interment and committal service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, on Monday, April 24th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Gertrude’s life at Zion United Church, Wallace Township at 11:00 a.m. Rev. George Russell officiating.
