Ted Klaassen ~ At Huronlea, Brussels, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, Mr. Theodor Johann Klaassen, formerly of Fordwich, in his 97th year,

Beloved husband of Elfriede (Degenaar) Klaassen. Elfreide and Ted were married in Germany in 1949, and immigrated to Canada in 1952.

Father of Johanna and Joe Nicholson of R.R.2, Bluevale, Gary and Angie Klaassen of R.R.3, Zurich, Weert Klaassen and Maureen Power of St. Thomas, and Theodor Klaassen Jr. and Erin Hudspeth of Kitchener.

Grandfather of Rodney and Laura Nicholson of Parkhill, Jamie and Roxane Nicholson of R.R.2 Bluevale, Karri-Anne and Bart Cameron of Wingham, Richard Klaassen of Grand Bend, Mark Klaassen of St.Marys, Michael Klaassen of Zurich and Anita Klaassen of Toronto.

Great-grandfather of Brennan, Cole, Jake, Britney, Josie, Colby Nicholson; Aubrey Anne and Abygail Cameron.

Ted was the last surviving child of Weert and Johanna (Schoolmann) Klaassen, being predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth, Weert, Johanne, Henriette, Wilhelmine, Theda, Frieda.

A Celebration of Ted’s life will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wallace Township, on Friday, March 24th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.

Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wallace Township, or the Residents’ Council at Huronlea, Brussels, would be appreciated.
