Neil Forman ~ At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 9, 2017, Mr. Neil Fraser Forman of Listowel, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Marion (Coghlin) Forman. Dear father of Diane and Tony Los of R.R. 3, Listowel, Bonnie and Ken Metcalfe, Doug and Patti Forman, and Kathryn and Don Clarke, all of Listowel. Grandfather of Paul Los of Stoney Creek, Fraser Los and Laura McLean of Canmore, Alberta, Allison Metcalfe and Dave Binkley of Kitchener, Brittney Metcalfe of London, Justin and Lisa Forman of Listowel, Mitchell Forman and fiancée Dakota Harland of Listowel, Lindsey and Mark Holmes of Listowel, and Kristen Clarke and Jesse Bean of Caledon, and great-grandfather of Fiona, Rosalie, and Kylie.
Predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Fraser) Forman, brothers Graham Forman, Murray Forman, and Ross Forman, sisters Jean Thompson and Ruth Allison, and son Donald in infancy.

Neil enlisted in the Canadian military in 1943 at the age of 19 years. He joined the 1st Division, and saw action in Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, and Holland. He was proud to be a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Neil loved music, and was in the pipe band for 27 years, 24 of those as the pipe major. He also loved his golf, which he enjoyed playing until he was 90 years old. Neil also enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels as well as various Legion events, especially the Robbie Burns events. But most of all, Neil enjoyed and loved his grandchildren, and recently his great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a Legion Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or Royal Canadian Legion Branch 259 would be appreciated.
