Husband of the late Louise Cowen. Father of Judy Heffer of Clarksburg, Betty and Tom Haugh of Kincardine, and Gary and Jeannette Cowen of Cambridge.

Grandfather of Melissa Heffer and Jay Bodrog, Matthew and Karin Heffer, Mark Heffer and Lindsay Marynewich, Andrew and Brooke Haugh, Michelle and Steve Garretson, Ryan and Annette Haugh, Jasmine Cowen and Mitchell Smith, and T.J. Cowen, and great-grandfather of Gavin, Madeline, Jabel, Clive, Quinlan, Mikaela, Danielle, Anderson, Beckett, Emmett, Isla, Colby, and Emelina.

Brother of Russell and Lorraine Cowen of Alliston, Ivan and Eleanor Cowan of Brampton, and Yvonne McCabe of Shelburne.

Predeceased by his son-in-law Barry Heffer and brother Glyn Cowen and his wife Marjorie, and brother-in-law Eddie McCabe.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., with a Legion Memorial Service at 5:45 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Tuesday, February 28th at 2:00 p.m.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
