Obituary for Ernie B. Wideman
Ernie Wideman ~ Unexpectedly at his home in Listowel, on Saturday, August 6, 2016, Ernie B. Wideman at the age of 74 years.
Beloved husband of Salema (Gingrich) Wideman. Dear father of Janice Bauman of Gorrie, Sharon and Murray Horst of Hesson, Kenneth and Shirley Wideman of Fordwich, John and Sandra Wideman, and Lawrence and Lucille Wideman, all of Listowel, Pauline and Darrell Frey of Drayton, Doris and Elroy Martin of Alma, Alice and Lowell Brubacher of Ariss, and Eunice and Dean Martin of Listowel. Fondly remembered by his 47 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents Tilman and Lucinda (Bauman) Wideman, brother Cleon Wideman, son-in-law Murrel Bauman, and grandson Trevor Bauman.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel (519-291-4840) on Monday, August 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, August 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Family Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 10th at 9:00 a.m., and then to Fair Haven Mennonite Meetinghouse for burial and further service.
