Beloved husband of Laura (Sutter) Newman. Dear father of Teresa Newman of Hamilton, Frank and Diane Newman of Burlington, John and Claire Newman, and Christine Newman, all of Listowel, and father-in-law of David Coneybeare of Listowel, and Joann Newman of Markham.

Grandfather of Meghan, Stephanie, Mitchell, Emma, Alexis, Josh, Heidi, Mary Frances, Madison, Jensen, and Hunter. Great-grandfather of Jacob. Brother of Bernadette Collins of St. Catharines.

Predeceased by his daughter Marianne Coneybeare, his sister Loretta Endersby, and brothers Jack Newman and Joe Newman.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Listowel, on Saturday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m.
